About Us
Conch Music House an audio production and education facility located in Tamil Nadu, India. We specialise in tracking, mixing and mastering of songs and albums for independent artists at affordable prices. We also train aspiring artists with the skills they will need to better understand sound and music.
We have a compact recording setup to track voice or any other instrument and experienced recording engineers to make sure you have satisfied recordings and fun working with us too!
We also record voice-overs and take up projects for scoring songs and/or background music for full-length feature, short, corporate and ad-films as well.
We believe that music is grounded around melody, groove, lyrics and sound (in that particular order).
Through teaching, we aim to guide students in understanding the essence, emotion and what the language of music tries to communicate using the tools of 'Rāgam', 'Thālam', choice of instruments, harmonies, rhythm patterns and expression of words.
Understanding sound, how it interacts with space and knowledge of audio equipment is also key in order to communicate with other musicians and technicians at performances. We also help you understand how to work as a band, or as a solo artist, with this knowledge.

“After exploring a variety of music in the last 15 years, having explored a wide range of genres from Indian classical, folk, film music, pop, rock and metal, I decided to quit my day job in the Shipbuilding industry to learn audio engineering and music production. Being a Mechanical Engineer, the drive to create and be problem-solver was always burning high! I love facing challenges, and thus my independent venture of Conch Music House was born. Working with various artists for film,documentaries, commercials, independent music and theatre, I got to learn a lot more on how the many overlapping layers in creative and technical arts create a symphonic harmony. My studio and stage experiences have taught me much! Not to mention all the interactions with many other experts! I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with all those who are thriving to learn!”
